StirlingWomen’s Centre Christmas Appeal Share the spirit of giving by donating to the Stirling Women’s Centre Christmas Appeal. For 40 years, the centre has provided crisis accommodation and support to thousands of families who have experienced family and domestic violence. Donations of gifts for children (toys), gifts for teenagers (gift vouchers) and gifts for women (beauty packs) would be greatly appreciated. Unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at any Stirling library, the City’s Administration Building, Works Depot or Stirling Leisure Centres in Balga, Inglewood or Scarborough by Wednesday 18 December.

Community Tree Planting end of season 2019 Birak is the season of the young, and a reminder of all the young trees that have recently been planted. A total of 569 street trees and 26 reserve trees have been planted across Stirling as part of the Community Tree Planting (CTP) program for 2019. This year, a total of 205 volunteers registered and participated in CTP events. On average, 35 volunteers attended each of the events and about half of those volunteers were locals. This is hugely encouraging when it comes to involvement from the community and we thank everyone for contributing to the program.
