Feast on Fringe at Sunset Veranda Sunset Veranda is back at Scarborough Beach this summer as part of the FRINGE WORLD Festival and there is more to love than ever. Go back to the days of the boardwalk fair and seaside carnival with sights and sounds that will tickle your funny bone, make your spine tingle and your head spin! Now in full swing at Brighton Reserve, Sunset Veranda runs until Sunday 16 February 2020 – so there is still time to enjoy the magic of the festival against the backdrop of our incredible west coast sunset. Take in a ticketed show in the Big Top or simply soak up the atmosphere while enjoying food, drinks and acoustic tunes at our open air bar. The streamlined process makes it quick and easy for businesses to apply for permits to make the most of bordering footpaths and verges. The City has rolled out the new process in an effort to create more vibrant, interesting, liveable and walkable commercial centres. Under the permit, businesses can apply for footpath and verge uses including outdoor dining and product as well as beautifications such as planter boxes.
