Your interactions with the City are about to become easier with the introduction of Salesforce. A Relationship Management System (RMS), Salesforce will significantly improve the way we assist customers and make it a lot simpler for you to communicate with the City. As the first Council in Western Australia to implement this world-leading RMS technology, we will set a benchmark

across local government for delivering exceptional customer experiences. What does the new RMS mean for you? You will be able to lodge requests online and seek general information from the City from any device, at any time. Customers will soon be able to register multiple pets online and opt in to receive pesticide notifications by registering their details on the City’s website.

The Customer Contact Centre receives thousands of phone calls from Stirling residents each week. Staff from the City’s Customer Service team provide answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. Q. What type of hazardous waste can I drop off at the Recycling Centre Balcatta? Waste such as motor oils, solvents, car batteries and LPG cylinders (less than 9kg) are accepted at the Recycling Centre Balcatta free of charge. Visit www.stirling.wa.gov.au and search ‘hazardous waste’ for the A Justice of the Peace (JP) service is available at the City’s Administration Centre on weekdays from 11.00am to 2.00pm. Stirling Libraries – Mirrabooka offers a JP service on Saturdays from 9.00am to 11.30am and at Stirling Libraries – Karrinyup on Sundays from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Q. Who is eligible for a concession on pet registration fees? Residents who hold a Pensioner Concession Card, a State Concession Card or the combination of Commonwealth Senior’s Health Card and a Senior’s Card are eligible for half-price registration fees on a new one-year, three-year or lifetime registration. The Local Government Elections will be held on Saturday 19 October 2019. The City of Stirling conducts its elections by postal vote. Electors enrolled to vote will be sent a voting package in late September 2019. Voting in the 2019 Local Government Elections

In a first for the City of Stirling, electors will have the opportunity to vote for the Mayor in addition to their ward Councillor in this year’s elections. Electors will receive two ballot papers in their voting package. Completed voting packages must be returned by electors by 6.00pm on Saturday 19 October 2019. The vote count starts at 6.00pm the same day and results will be available shortly after.
