Battle for Blood Could you be the difference in whether the City of Stirling emerges victorious in this year’s Tri-Cities Blood Challenge? Now in its third year, the challenge encourages residents from across the Cities of Stirling, Joondalup and Wanneroo to donate blood to the Australian Red Cross Blood Service by Sunday 30 September 2018. The council that racks up the most donations from its residents at the New City Website is on the way The City will soon launch its new customer-focused website. The new site will have a fresh design, improved search functions, intuitive navigation and will be easy to use across all devices. A new events hub will showcase ‘What’s On’ throughout the City, plus a new search function will make it easy to find Council minutes and agendas and City documents. With accessibility being a major focus, the new website will be user-friendly for screen readers and

Do I need a verge permit for demolition works, construction works or installation of a swimming pool? Yes, a verge permit is required for all of these works and a Verge Permit Application Form will need to be completed. Visit www.stirling.wa.gov.au and search ‘verge permits’ for details. Q. I’ve lost my pet’s registration tag; can I get a replacement? Yes, a replacement tag costing $5.50 can be requested in person at the Administration Centre (25 Cedric Street, Stirling) or at the Animal Care Facility (15 Natalie Way, Balcatta). Alternatively, send a money order/cheque with your pet’s details to the City at 25 Cedric Street, Stirling and a replacement tag will be posted to you. Please note that only one tag can be issued per pet.
