School Battery Recycling Program The City’s School Battery Recycling Program is aimed at educating children and adults about protecting the environment by collecting batteries in schools for safe disposal/recycling. The City is currently collecting batteries from 62 schools. Bin collection The City of Stirling operates a three-bin system where households have access to three different bins: • A red lid bin for general waste • A yellow lid bin for recycling materials • A green lid bin for garden organics.
