Newcomers Guide The City of Stirling has developed a Newcomers guide to assist new residents settle into the City and their local area. The guide highlights real peoples stories and provides helpful information on the City’s services. A copy of the guide is available in alternative languages and can be viewed or download from the City’s website or you can also visit a local library to pick up a copy. Y Youth Services The City‘s youth team provides engagement, information and support for young people, enhancing their health and wellbeing through youth and community events, civic participation, volunteering and workshops. For more information contact the Customer Contact Centre or visit the City’s website. Z Zoning information The zoning of land determines what uses and development may be allowed on that land. The City uses the term rezoning to describe when the existing zoning of a property is changed to a new zoning – for example from ‘residential’ to ‘business.’ Visit the City’s online mapping system maps.stirling.wa.gov.au for more information on zoning.
